Dr. T S Ramaswamy is Chief Physician and Diabetologist at Sai Hospital in Palakkad, Kerala. This hospital was started by Dr. Ramaswamy in 1994 and he runs it along with his wife Dr. Pramila Ramaswamy, who is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.

Dr. T S Ramaswamy completed his MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College at Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, in 1979. Later he obtained the MD (General Medicine) degree from the same college in 1984, after which he worked for a year at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry.

Dr. Ramaswamy has been practicing as a Consultant Physician in Palakkad since 1985. In 1990 he did a course in Diabetes from Newcastle University in Australia, and has been practicing as a Diabetologist since then.

Apart from general medical care, the main focus of Sai Hospital is on Diabetes and related disorders. A Diabetic Club has been formed, with members enjoying concessions in consultation and investigators and access to diabetic camps and educational sessions. Sai Hospital is one of only two hospitals in Palakkad empanelled for ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) members. The hospital is also empanelled for FCI and ITI employees, and several other companies.
